What’s it about?
Churches in rural areas face significant challenges and many are finding it hard to think positively about the future. This day conference on Friday 15th May at Haveringland Parish Church will explore the realities of rural parish life, and provide some inspiration to take away with you.
There will be keynote talks from Bishop Jane Steen (Bishop of Lynn) and Nigel Walter (Archangel Architects - Cambridge). We’ll have panel discussions covering topics like church buildings, governance structures, models of church.
Who’s it for?
The conference is offered for any leaders of rural churches, lay and ordained; PCC members, clergy and Diocesan officers would all be very welcome to come along.

The venue for the conference is the amazing
Haveringland Parish Church & Community Hub.
The conference marks the end of a momentous £500,000 project which has seen the remote and dilapidated church building transformed into a well-appointed facility which serves its community in fresh ways.

What’s the deal?
The conference is offered to you free of charge thanks to the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, who have been major funders of the work we have done. All you have to do is register your place. We’ll even provide you with a free lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
